We are a scrappy group of engineers that started this business in February of 2003. Today, our technical abilities are at upper end of the engineering spectrum and our permit negotiating abilities are unmatched.

A permit is formal permission to proceed with the construction phase of a project. A permit’s purpose is to ensure that all projects comply with local laws, ordinances and building codes. Civil Engineers are duly authorized to assist in the permitting process because of their education and training in design and construction. At Las Vegas Civil Engineering, we are experts in Federal, State and local regulatory guidelines with a 100% success rate in acquiring permits for clients in all 50 states.

Who Issues Permits?

Building and construction permits are typically issued by States, Counties and Cities. In some cases, the Federal Government issues permits due to specific environmental criteria.

Had a bad experience with Joey. They initially quoted me a price. Then I mentioned to them I needed it within a... month, and they said they would need to charge me an "expedite fee" of $2,000" (the original price was only $4,500) After not delivering on the promised date, we find out they never even visited the property for the extra $2,000. They just used info from the previous job they did for us. Overall Joey tried to scam us out of an extra $2,000 for zero extra work. Plenty of other engineers, do not use LVCE if you can avoid it!!read more

I normally do not leave reviews (good or bad), but today I have time… I contacted Las Vegas Civil Engineering and Joey... answered the call. He was rude and abrasive. But the last straw was when he asked me “Do you have the wherewithal to do this.” What?! How would I know to seek a “civil engineer” if I didn’t have the “wherewithal”. I started the conversation by telling him I have a background in real estate sales. He also asked “What is your purpose for wanting to do this”(in a condescending tone). I started to explain then just hung up because this is a multi-million dollar project and he definitely will ruin it. You need leadership and client relations training.read more
